Violin

Helena Zemanova first studied modern violin in Czech Republic before being interested in early music. She started to study baroque violin with Odile Edouard at the CNSMD of Lyon.

Since 2002, she lives in Prague where she is first violin of the Ensemble 1704 (V. Luks).

Regularly, she performs with the medieval ensemble Mala Punica (P. Memelsdorff) but also with a lot of other ensembles as Gli Incogniti (A. Beyer), L’Onda Armonica (S. Azzolini) and l'Accademia Ottoboni.
