A French-Italyn musician, Flavio Losco trained at the Nice Conservatory in violin, music theory, percussion, organ, composition, and Baroque music. He earned several First Prizes there.
Flavio Losco has participated in numerous recordings, playing both violin and viola. Notably, he recorded works by Paganini on period instruments for the first time ever.
Whether for a personal project or as a solo violinist (Il Suonar Parlante, cond. V. Ghielmi; La Cappella Mediterranea, cond. L. Garcia Alarcon; Akadêmia, cond. F. Lasserre, etc.) or as a soloist—alongside Amandine Beyer, for example—Flavio Losco performs in the most prestigious concert halls and festivals (Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Philharmonie de Paris, Konzerthaus in Vienna, etc.) and receives the highest recording awards (Diapason d'Or, Diapason d'Or de l'Année, Choc de Classica, Editor's Choice Gramophone, etc.).
In 2005, he had the honor of playing on the Violon d'Ingres. Alongside his instrumental activities, Flavio Losco has also performed as a tenor, in both oratorio and opera. In 2017, he had the privilege of conducting Mozart's Requiem.
He teaches baroque violin at the Nice Conservatory.
