Nacho Laguna
Nacho Laguna is a theorbo player, guitarist, and sound artist,
and the founder of the Ballarte Ensemble and the Ballarte Festival. He has worked with ensembles and musicians such as Gli Incogniti, Artaserse, La Ritirata, Le Consort, I Gemelli, Les Musiciens du Louvre, Amandine Beyer, Philippe Jaroussky, Théotime Langlois de Swarte, and Christina Pluhar.
He has performed in venues such as the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the Royal Opera of Versailles, the Elbphilharmonie, the Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall, the Hong Kong City Hall, and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, among others. His interest in interdisciplinarity has led him to participate
in projects such as Mystery Sonata, DREAM, The Whale, El gran sarao del Mundo, Silencio en la sala que el fuego va a hablar, Transhumancias, and La incertidumbre. In 2023, he released his first solo CD, Ferrarese, which was awarded 5 Diapasons by Diapason magazine and selected for AIEnRUTa-Clásicos 2025.
