Ottavia Rausa
Ottavia studied violin and viola at the Novara Conservatory and attended Alberto Lysi's Academia Menuhin in Blonay (Switzerland). She then perfected her skills in baroque violin and viola with
Carlo De Martini and Enrico Gatti and obtained his degree in baroque violin with Luigi Mangiocavallo at the Academia Santa Cecilia in Rome.
She plays regularly with ensembles such as the Academia Montis Regalis, the Ensemble Baroque de Nice, La Venexiana, the Ensemble Aurora, Harmonices Mundi, Teatro Litta, Musica Rara,
the Accademia del Santo Spirito and under the direction of JC. Malgoire, S. Preston, G. Murray, C. Astronio, A. Beyer, F. Fernandez, E. Onofri, D. Laurin, E. Gatti, L. Mangiocavallo or T. Koopman.
She has recorded for numerous labels and since 2010 has regularly collaborated with the labels Amadeus, Dynamic and Brillant as artistic director and producer.
