Gli Incogniti is aware of the ecological emergency and convinced of the need to make practices evolve within the performing arts sector. For this reason, Gli Incogniti created Green'cogniti at the beginning of 2020. It’s an initiative that aims to adopt eco-responsible practices in all the fields that affect its activity (hotels, transport, catering, office, technical...).
To this end, the Ensemble is a member of the association ARVIVA - Arts vivants, Arts durables (Performing arts, Sustainable arts).
Preference for homestay accommodation or a hotel with an environmental ecolabel
In the immediate vicinity of the concert venue. In all cases, we contact the hotel before the trip to ask them about eco-responsible measures (only one towel per room, no cleaning for a stay of less than four days, no samples, no plastic cups, etc.).
Reducing our carbon footprint
Encourage trains instead of planes as soon as it is possible, prefer soft mobility or, otherwise, electric transport. Rethink tours so that the train is possible.
Favor bulk, seasonal and local products as well as washable dishes and water fountains, both for the welcoming catering and for the meals
Prefer the caterers delivering in washable containers as well as vegetarian meals. These requests are made to each location before receiving us.
RETHINKING OUR PRACTICES, SHARING, RECYCLING
Tendency towards digital sobriety, sharing of office equipment with other structures (coworking), respect for selective sorting.
